GSA Announces 310 New Contracts
for IT Companies

The GSA announced this week that 310 spots would be available to Information Technology related businesses thanks to its new acquisition program. 

GSA officials provided a more in-depth look at the newest strategy called Polaris, which is designed to help companies connect to Federal agencies in search of state-of-the-art IT services/products. The General Services Administration will award 310 contracts broken down into four separate pools as follows:

• Pool 1: Unrestricted small businesses (100 spots)
• Pool 2: HUBZone businesses (60 spots)
• Pool 3: Service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses (SDVOSB) (70 spots)
• Pool 4: Women-owned small businesses (80 spots)

If you fall into any of these categories, contracts worth millions of dollars could be waiting for you. In an article released by the GSA, artificial intelligence, robotic automation, distributed ledger technology, and overall impressive technologies that push the envelope are some of the main focuses for these new contracts.
