The GSA announced this week that 310 spots would be available to Information Technology related businesses thanks to its new acquisition program.
GSA officials provided a more in-depth look at the newest strategy called Polaris, which is designed to help companies connect to Federal agencies in search of state-of-the-art IT services/products. The General Services Administration will award 310 contracts broken down into four separate pools as follows:
If you fall into any of these categories, contracts worth millions of dollars could be waiting for you. In an article released by the GSA, artificial intelligence, robotic automation, distributed ledger technology, and overall impressive technologies that push the envelope are some of the main focuses for these new contracts.
The current administration has shifted its sights to IT to create a more efficient and prosperous future for the country. Thanks to this government-wide acquisition announcement, 310 more companies will be connected to enormous contracts. Although officials have not yet announced a timeline for releasing these awards, now is the time to start preparing.
Don’t forget; thanks to the springboard being offered by the Federal Government, your personal IT experience can act as your firm’s overall years in business. That means you can get on the GSA/MAS Schedule without being in operation for over two years.
Government Services Exchange is a third-party service provider with decades of experience assisting IT firms in being awarded contracts on the GSA Schedule. It can be complicated to complete everything that goes along with Government Contracting. That’s where we come in.
